RIGHT OF INFORMATION IN RELATION TO THE DATA PROCESSING

| Purposes | Manage the user account for this app as part of the “FLOODUP” research project and, if you give us your consent by clicking the corresponding box, send you information about the project and about activities or news organized by the GAMA research group of the UB. |
| Lawful basis | Regarding the management of the user account, the lawful basis is the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (Organic Law 6/2001, of December 21, of Universities and Law 1/2003 of February 19, Universities of Catalonia).
As regards the sending of information, the legal basis is your consent, which you can revoke at any time without having retroactive effect. |
| Data storage period | They will be stored for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected and to determine the possible responsibilities derived from it. |
| Recipients | The data recipients are the University itself and those in charge of processing your data on behalf of the University, if applicable. No transfer of data to third parties is envisaged, unless there is a legal obligation to do so. |
| Rights | You can access to the data, request data rectification, data erasure and data portability, and request objection or restriction of processing. You can write to the General Secretary at the postal address Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 585, 08007 Barcelona, or at the email address secretaria.general@ub.edu, attaching a copy of your DNI or any other appropriate identity document. |

ABOUT USER DATA
In reference to the data stored in the Floodup application:
If you wish to request the deletion of your account, you must follow the steps indicated below:
1-Send an email to floodup2@gmail.com with the following information:
– Username and email address with which you registered on the Floodup App
– I request (choose one of the options)
- Delete my account.
- Delete my observations.
- Delete my account and my observations
- Delete my account and anonymize my observations.
2- You will receive a confirmation email once the requested deletion has been processed
Types of data that are deleted or retained:
When deleting the account, your user data (name or nickname and email address) will be removed from the Floodup App’s database. The observations you have already sent will be kept with their corresponding authorship (name or nickname). If you wish to keep your observations sent anonymously, please indicate it in the email.
Tip: To register on the Floodup App, you do not need to use your real name; you can use a nickname. The name or nickname will be published on the application when you send observations. This way, we can identify the authors of the photographs and request to give them credit if they are used.
